Premium gas goes up while diesel, kerosene go down
Fuel prices in Belize have consistently been going down during the past few months, but today the prices at the pump are headed in both directions. So depending on what type of fuel you use, you may want to run out and fill up after this newscast. News Five understands that shortly, premium or super gasoline will go up by fifty-nine cents which will take it from four dollars and eighty-five cents to five dollars and forty-four cents. Diesel is currently six dollars and thirteen cents and will go down by one dollar and thirty-four cents, making the new price at the pump four dollars and seventy-nine cents. Kerosene now sells at five dollars and ninety-seven cents, but is going down by one dollar and fifty four cents, which will make the new price four dollars and forty-three cents. And if you were holding your breath wondering about the fate of the price of regular gasoline, fret no more, as it is expected to remain constant at four dollars and fifty-five cents per gallon.
