Sour notes for Dwight Sosa who stole musical instruments

Dwight Sosa
Dwight Sosa, a former caretaker at Boss Hog Pro Audio, has been charged with the theft of an assortment of musical instruments from that business. In December 2009, fifty year old Ivan Smith, a resident of Urban Avenue in Belize City reportedly gave his friend, Dwight Sosa, permission to stay at his store located at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Trinity Street. Smith later reported to police that sometime between then and January thirtieth, Sosa stole from the store seven thousand, eight hundred and thirty-six dollars in instruments. On Monday, a police investigation led to the arrest of thirty-seven year old Dwight Sosa, a resident of Plues Street in Belize City. Sosa had apparently traded in some of the stolen items at Fair Brother’s Pawn Shop where Smith’s bass guitar, a microphone and stand were found. Sosa appeared before Magistrate Albert Hoare on Wednesday and was charged with theft and handling stolen goods. He is due back before the court on April nineteenth. This is the second charge of theft brought against him. On February first of this year, he was caught trying to steal from William Quan Store on Albert Street. He had been caught red handed by police as they were on patrol during a protest organized by COLA, the Citizens Organized for Liberty through Action.
