Two more guns removed from the streets
The battle to get guns off the streets rages on and tonight police are reporting two more successes. Around seven on Sunday night cops acted on an anonymous tip and visited an empty lot on Iguana Street Extension in Belize City. Hidden in some bushes in the yard was a point thirty-eight Special Taurus revolver. The following day, a Smith and Wesson along with a box of forty-two hollow point rounds was handed in to San Pedro police. The items were discovered a hundred and fifty yards out in the sea by a tourist who was snorkeling. The Kansas resident saw the transparent Ziploc bag on the seafloor, picked it up, and turned it in. The guns have been labeled as found property and anyone wishing to claim them can visit the respective police station.
