Safiyyah finds plenty activities for the three day weekend

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize?

Tonight you can head over to the Bliss and check out the opening of the women in art exhibit. The Women in Art exhibit is being held in order to display Belizean, Regional and International artists, in an effort to expose the public to different forms of cultural expressions. The exhibit is also being put on as a way to allow Belizean women to be known for their positive in the cultural disciplines of art. This exhibit will be open in the bliss from tonight thru to the 26th of March.

On Saturday here in Belize City you can check out Wesley’s 3rd annual school fair. This fair will begin at 4pm and will run thru to 11pm. There will be a flea market, a beauty plaza, dunking booth, bouncy house and many more goodies for you to look out for. There will be food and drink on Sale as well. So make it a date tomorrow night and head over to the Wesley campus and check out their fair.

If you’re down south and in the mood to Party on Saturday night then you’re in luck.  On Saturday night you can head over to the PG Sports Bar where they will be having a party featuring reckless, new rebels, and Yaad core movement.

Out west on Saturday night the Storks night Club will be having a bash called Show It Off featuring Cloud Nine and Stone Jam. Inside this San Ignacio bash there will be lots of giveaways and plenty of surprises. So if you’re in that area, make sure you check it out.

If you’re up North then you can head over to the Miracle Night Club in Corozal, where they will be having Girls Gone Wild. Upon entering the door at the party they will be giving out complementary drinks at the door. The first 25 ladies to enter before midnight; will enter free. So all you northern party people can head over to the Miracle nightclub on Saturday night.

And seeing that Monday is a holiday there will be plenty of activities for you to do on Sunday. Down in Independence there will be Bay Day held in the Independence Park. This celebration will include a football marathon as well as other games. There will be lots a food and drinks on sale. The festivities will start at 10am.

If you’re a big basketball player and in Corozal on Sunday then you can head over to the Corozal Civic center for an all day Basketball tournament beginning at 10am. This tournament is being held for 7 men teams. If you wanna participate then you can call 605-2756.  If you want you can head over and just enjoy the games. There will be plenty of food and drinks on sale as well as music for you to enjoy.

Here in Belize City on Sunday there will be a fundraiser held for Gunshot victim, 7 year old Janay Moguel. This fundraiser will be held in the form of a pool party at the Princess Hotel Pool. All high School and tertiary school students are invited; a school idea will be required. The Party will run from 1pm up until 6pm. Music will provided by DJ Motion and DJ Dynasty. There will be lots giveaways so go and have a great time for a worthy cause.

On Sunday night if you’re in the mood to party you can head over to La Cabana and check out the all white party called Bedrock. This party will feature cloud nine and Stone Jam. There will be plenty of giveaways and lots of surprises.

And on Monday if you’re in the mood for some physical activity then you can check out the all day sports fest that integrity radio will be having. This sports fest will be taking place at the Civic center here in Belize City. Not only will there be sports but there will also be food and drinks on sale.

And before I go I have to tell you about a YC Belize Live It Loud youth conference being held on the 26th and 27th of this month. So mark the date down and I’ll give you more information as the day gets closer.
