CJ is newest member of appellate court of Cayman Islands
Chief Justice Abdulai Conteh is the newest member of the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal. Conteh took the oath of office on December eleventh at the island. We are not sure how the appointment will work, but it does beg the question, what if any effects will the post have on his role as Belize’s Chief Justice, seeing the backlog that already exists in our own courts. We were unable to reach the C.J. for comment as he is currently out of the country.
