Minor shot twice on Victoria Street
Turning to the dangerous city streets, a minor was shot last night in the old capital. Seventeen year old Kenrick Longsworth, a resident of Castle Street, was hanging at the corner of Castle and Pitts Alley when according to his mother; he was shot at by an assailant known as Mister T. The bullet missed Longsworth and he headed home. But he did not stay there for long and later in the night, he went back out on the street. This time he went to purchase some goods at the corner of Victoria Street and Lovely Lane where he was shot twice by a different gunman. Longsworth received gunshot wounds to the right side of his pelvic area and the lower abdomen. He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains hospitalized. Longsworth’s mother said that eyewitnesses identified the shooter as a Kelly Street resident known as Oscar.
