2 security guards charged for possession of pen gun
And two security officers will be spending some time behind bars for a prohibited firearm, in this case, a point twenty-two calibre pen gun. The two, nineteen year old Carlos Rodriquez and twenty year old Honduran Eduard Varro, were charged this morning for the offense. They pleaded not guilty to the charge but due to the nature of the offense, the two could not be offered bail. The incident occurred around ten p.m. on December twenty-first, in the island of San Pedro. Police reported that based on information available to them, they went to Rodriguez’s apartment on Pescador Drive to search for stolen goods. While the police did not find the stolen goods they found a pen gun on a window sill. Both men will return to court on January twenty-seventh, 2009.
