Second fetus found by children in less than a week
It is not officially designated as a dump site, but Belize City residents have turned this street side in the Saint Martin de Porres area into one and on Monday, it was the venue where a fetus was found. Police say the discovery was made during the lunch hour about a hundred yards on this dirt road at mile two on the Western Highway. The fetus, believed to be between twenty and twenty-two weeks old, was wrapped in a towel and placed inside a black plastic bag. The discovery was made by children playing in the area. Police are investigating the incident.
