Real entertaining huh? Combine them with the female contestant and imagine all the entertainment. I also spoke to the organizer of the pageant and the former Ms SJC JC and the told me why you guys should check their show out. So don’t forget Saturday night 6pm at the Kings Room of Princess Hotel. I’ll be there as one of the hosts for the evening. So check it out.
Also on Saturday night in San Ignacio, there will be a Spring Fling Party inside the Blue Angels Night club. Inside this Party there will be a swimsuit competition to kick the night off and the party will follow from there. Music will be provided by Jah Fiyah sounds, DJ Biggz and others.
In celebration of Maya Day happening on the 28th of March, the Mayan community in Toledo will be having a few activities that you should look out for if you are in the area. The first is a Marimba and Harp Competition. This will begin at 8am on Saturday. The top three groups selected on this day will go on to compete at the grand finale at Maya Day.
Another activity happening there on Saturday is the Maya Festival. this will include Story telling of the Mayan history, customs, values and culture. This event will begin at 6:30pm
And the final activity that will be taking place in Celebration of the Maya Day will be the Lord of the Rainforest Cycling Race. This Cycling race will be taking place on Sunday and will involve the guys of the neighboring villages enduring hours of riding on unpaved roads. So you know that’ll be quite a challenge!
Here in the city on Sunday, you are invited to either take part in or just attend a talent night. This Talent night will be held inside the Art Gallery and Coffee shop located at #5757 Princess Margaret Drive. There are quite a bit of activities rolling in for next weekend for me to tell you about so you can go out and enjoy. I don’t want to give it all away now but there are a few I think it’s important that you know about in advance.
One such activity is the Jesuit Scholarship recipients reunion taking place on Friday and Saturday Night. Friday night is when they will be having their cocktail reception taking place at 6pm at the Fort George Radisson.
