Thief disappears before being given 2 year sentence

Moses Pacheco
Two men who were surprised inside the home of Elma Augustine in the Lake Garden area were found guilty of Burglary on Thursday. Nineteen year old Moses Pacheco and eighteen year old Pedro Gonzalez were caught in Augustine’s bathroom on August tenth 2009 when the cops were informed about a burglary in progress. Police found that Pacheco and Gonzalez had stashed a printer in a backpack and several other items were stocked up at the front door, ready to be taken away. Since the incident they had been out on five thousand dollars bail and it is believed that Gonzalez has absconded to his home country, El Salvador because he could not be located since his last court appearance in January. He was, however, sentenced in absencia to two years in jail along with Pacheco who is now at the Hattieville Prison. Meanwhile, a bench warrant has been issued for Gonzalez’ arrest and an APB will be posted to speed up the process. No one was at Augustine’s home when the two broke in because she was living in the Cayman Islands at the time.
