Body found floating in Belize River
While Police have a suspect in the murder of George Coffin, they have no leads as to what caused the death of a man who was found floating in the Belize River on the Northern Highway this morning. Officer Commanding C.I.B. says that they have been able to identify the body as that of Kevin Sealey.
Supt. Julio Valdez, O.C., C.I.B.
“Police visited mile two on the Western Highway behind Buca Shell where a male decomposed, Creole descent person was seen floating on the river. He was taken out and eventually transported to the morgue to conduct a post mortem. Today’s date, as we speak, the post mortem was conducted on him by Dr. Estradabran who, at this time because of the sate of decomposition, he cannot at this time determine the cause of death but he has been identified as one Kevin Sealey. That’s all what we get up to now, it’s one Kevin Sealey.”
Jose Sanchez
“I understand Mr. Sealey was found with a cane in his clothes. Do you think he may have fell into the water?”
Supt. Julio Valdez
“It could be possible because at this time there is no foul play, at this time suspected or we don’t believe anything was found on him or seen and the doctor, because of the state of decomposition, cannot determine the cause of death so…”
