55 year old succumbs to gunshot to the face

And while Bou-Nahra’s death is yet inconclusive, a fifty five year old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning. George Emmanuel Cofffin was at the corner of South Street and East Canal when a man pulled out a small firearm and fired a single shot to his face. The senior citizen then walked from the area of Dean Street to the Mesopotamia Police Substation and sat outside the station until the mobile unit arrived. Even with the gunshot wound, Coffin had the strength to get into police pickup by himself. Coffin later succumbed to his wounds at the K.H.M.H.
