Safiyyah ‘s pre-Easter weekend entertainment

We’re one week away from the Easter festivities and almost everyone’s plans include a visit to the beach. So tonight Safiyyah has a special presentation on what’s hot in swim wear this year. But of course there’s still a lot to do around the country so your favorite entertainment girl will also tell you where to find the fun leading up to the holidays. Here’s What’s Happening Belize with Safiyyah.

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize?

This weekend there will be plenty of activities you can enjoy on your final weekend leading up to Easter.

Tonight the Bird’s Isle will be having a contest called Ms Slim, Trim and Sexy. This pageant will include 6 Ladies that will compete in Swim wear, Sports Wear Hawaiian style and talent. They say its a show you won’t wanna miss.

In Cayo tonight, the Sacred Heart Junior College will be having a fundraiser to raise money for school equipment. This fundraiser is happening in the form of a Big bash at Club Benque Rock. The music will be provided by Cloud Nine sounds. There will be lot of giveaways including and balloon drop and raffles. The doors open at 8pm. Remember its for a good cause.

Also tonight in Orange Walk, there will be a Student DJ Clash competition. This event will have all the up coming young DJs competing to the top spot. This will all be taking place at the Crystal palace at 8pm in Orange Walk town.

Here in Belize city, the celebration of women’s month continues tonight with the show Women of worth. Women of Worth is 2 one woman show plays that will tell the remarkable life story of two women, Harriet Tubman and Mrs. Beverly Smith-Lopez. This show will be taking place tonight in the Bliss Center at 8pm.So you still have time to go check it out.

On Saturday night here in the city Courts will be having a fundraising dance to help with medical expenses for two of their staff members. This Just Dance will be taking place at the View restaurant and Bar Located on the top floor of the royal orchid hotel here in Belize City.

Also on Saturday night, there will be a dance called “Diva; the Ultimate Ladies night out”. This will be held in Belmopan inside the Twilight Disco. Music will be provided by none other than Stone Jam.

Another party being held out west is an Old school dance. This blast from the past will be held inside fire water and music will be provided by DJ Tambran alongside DJ Evin.

Now that I’ve taken care of business! I can tell you about a few new things. We all know that Easter is next weekend and whether you’re planning on hanging all weekend in San Pedro or Placencia or jus gonna take a day trip to a nice spot to swim, I’m sure you wanna look your best. This is your last weekend to shop so I went out to two boutiques to find you some of the cool swim wear trends for this Easter…
