Haitian national opens door to masked gunmen

In another case, a Haitian national at home sleeping was awakened under the cover of dark and badly beaten. The motive: robbery. The incident happened at his home on Antelope Street Extension that is occupied by other tenants. Forty-nine year old Café Suprelus told police that shortly after twelve Tuesday morning, he woke up when he heard someone knocking on his front door. But when checked who it was, he was dumbfounded by the sight of four masked men in his house, armed with pistols. Suprelus says that one of the intruders, who carried a twelve gauge shotgun, pointed it at him and demanded money. He was told to lie on the floor and was hit on the shoulder and neck with the shotgun. The men broke into the other rooms and stole an Orion brand television, a stereo system, a Samsung cell phone and one hundred dollars in cash.
