Man loses four toes in machete attack

And in other news, at around four-thirty Sunday evening, twenty-one year old Rangel Delgado of San Narciso Village, Corozal was walking in front of Escuela Mexico Secondaria High School in the San Roman Village when he was approached by a machete wielding assailant. Delgado says that his attacker swung the machete at him cutting off four toes from his left foot. Delgado was taken to the Corozal Hospital and thereafter transferred to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and admitted under observation. Delgado’s condition is stable and police are looking for Carlos Cantun whom Delgado identified as his attacker.
