Armed robbers hold up Jenny’s Shop

Another aggravated burglary was reported over the weekend, this time on Friday night. The victim is thirty-nine year old Xiao Hua Zhu, proprietor of Jenny’s Shop on Meighan Avenue. Zhu reported to police that she was closing up the shutter when she was approached by two men; one of them was armed with a silver handgun. The gunman pointed the firearm at Zhu and punched her causing her to fall to the ground. The other culprit worked quickly to pull down the shutters and then both went behind the counter and started loading items into a black bag. The men then proceeded to the bedrooms, took her keys, and left through the back door. The men got away with a laptop computer, two cell phones, and fifteen hundred dollars worth of telephone cards.
