“The purpose of this day is to give or sensitize the public about what is happening in the aviation industry and the opportunities that are available. The theme of this year’s celebration is “Tomorrow’s aviation: a world of opportunities for skilled aviation personnel. So as you can see it’s a world of opportunity and a lot of people don’t know about. We are out sensitize young people not only being a pilot, but or an engineer; there’s a lot of things that you can do in the aviation field that people do not know about. We wanted to give the opportunity to the kids, most of all, to see what the aviation industry is like and if they would like to pursue a career or not, what it would take and who they would be dealing with.”
