Messenger behind bars for stealing deposit
Sixty year old Rudolph Arnold, the messenger for Belize Industrial Agencies on the Western Highway is behind bars tonight for allegedly stealing thirty-seven thousand dollars from his boss.
Manager of Belize Industrial Agencies Limited at Mile one and a half on the Western Highway, twenty-six year old Glen Kornelsen, told police that he on Wednesday morning, he gave Arnold money to deposit at Scotiabank, but Arnold left and returned claiming that he had lost the money. But the story changed soon after police showed up at Arnold’s home at 69 Faber’s Road, where Arnold handed over all thirty-seven G’s in cash and cheques over to cops. Police say they are also looking for a second suspect, but did not say how he is linked to the incident. Arnold was charged today with Theft and will return to court on January eighth.
