Chancellor Street rapist caught by two cops

A forty year-old woman of Belize City was raped last Wednesday on Chancellor Street and tonight police say investigations into the sexual crime has led them to arrest of a well-known city man. Twenty five year old Kareem Williams, who has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions, was this morning charged with rape and robbery. The victim told police that last Wednesday she was walking on Chancellor Street when she was approached by a man riding a bicycle. The woman identified her attacker with dreadlocks and a bushy beard and dressed in khaki shorts. She claimed the man pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, robbed her of her jewelry and cell phone and then raped her on the side walk. Police later arrested Williams.
