Belizean killed in accident in Los Angeles

Another Belizean, however, lost his life in a traffic accident also in Los Angeles. Thirty-six year old motorcyclist, Orrin Casey, formerly of Belmopan, was killed by a ninety-four year old driver. It happened this past Monday morning when Casey was hit by the elderly man who was trying to exit a shopping centre in the Riverside Area. Casey was riding his motorcycle when the Ford vehicle pulled out of the parking area. He was thrown onto the roadway while his bike smashed other vehicles before landing further away. Casey was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Casey was the son of former postmaster Alfonso Casey and his wife, Marion, a Psychiatric Nurse of Belmopan.
