Thief robs drugstore attendants of cash and jewelry
In crime news, a Belize City drug store was robbed after midday on Monday. Two workers of Community Sports and Nutrition Pharmacy, at the corner of Barrack Road and Hyde’s Lane were going through a regular business day until a man, about five feet, four inches in height, slim built, with a low haircut and wearing a white undershirt and dark jeans pants entered the business place and demanded money. He was carrying a black shirt in his hand and pointed it at one of the workers. Twenty two year old Juliet Flowers, the technician at the drug store, fearing it was a gun, opened up the cash pan and handed over two hundred dollars plus another fifty from her purse. The assailant relieved the other worker of a gold ring then left. A suspect has been identified and the police continue their investigation.
