Two of David Gabourel’s neighbours detained for his murder
And police have made some inroads into the stabbing murder on November fifteenth of taxi driver, thirty-six year old David Gabourel. This morning, based on eyewitness accounts, cops detained two of Gabourel’s neighbours and are expected to lay murder charges against them tomorrow. Gabourel’s body was discovered beside his house at thirty-six Kelly Street in Belize City around dawn on November fifteenth. He had been stabbed in the back and behind his neck. While there was no evidence of forced entry into his small house, there were signs it had been ransacked and some of his belongings and his money were gone. Gabourel’s stolen taxi car was recovered a few blocks away on Simon Lamb Street that same morning. It had been wiped clean.
