Yabra Policing Unit cleans up neighbourhood
Members of the Yabra Community Policing Unit and the Ministry of National Security got down and dirty over the weekend, joining at-risk youths, parents and community activists on a cleanup campaign. The group picked up garbage, chopped grass, planted flowers and even painted buildings. The participants also had some fun with sporting activities and musical entertainment. The two-day activity was part of the Action Plan of SICA countries in the region and was held simultaneously in all countries to promote activities in neighbourhoods with the aim of minimizing crime and violence.
