Security guard robbed of thousands at his home

A trio of cunning burglars robbed a Stann Creek security guard of over four thousand dollars worth of items. On Sunday, forty year old Steve Quilter was at home with his girlfriend when around twelve-twenty there was a knock at the door. A voice from outside shouted, “Police, we come to search for illegal stuff” and Quilter opened the door. But instead of the law, he found three men: two of whom were armed with a knife and nine millimetre pistol. The burglars pointed the gun at Quilter, questioned him about money and jewellery, and then ordered him to lie on the floor. They then proceeded to search the home and made off with a gold chain, portable DVD player, Sony Playstation, a jeans pants, and a hundred and forty dollars in cash.
