Robert Brown murdered by girlfriend’s brother
The bank did not lose cash, but a family is tonight mourning the loss of one of its members. On Friday night, twenty-eight Robert Brown came home from work and shortly after, he jumped back on his bike to go hang out with friends; it was the last time his family would see him alive. According to police reports, at around twelve-twenty-five Saturday morning Brown was walking with his girlfriend Nekia Anderson on Raccoon Street when they got into an argument. Anderson left in a huff and shortly after her brother, Wyatt Anderson, came after Brown. The two got into a fight and Anderson stabbed Brown to the left side of his chest with a knife. Brown was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital but died around one-forty that same morning. Brown’s mother Lizbeth Pitterson says she got the news when her son was already in the morgue.

“Did you ever think that this would happen?”
Lizbeth Pitterson
“No ma’am, none at all.”

“Is your son known to get into trouble with anyone or anything like that?”
Lizbeth Pitterson
“No ma’am, not as yet. I noh know anything about that. Dehn only tell me dat dehn stab ah and dat’s it. He and some girl had some kinda thing and dehn stab him, that’s all I know.”

“And you’ve never heard of this girl or her brother?”
