Michael Gladden facing more charges for attacking taxi drivers
Michael Gladden, who appeared in court on Monday for Attempted Murder, was back in Court today, this time for the robbery of another taxi driver, sixty three year old Hipolito Fernandez that occurred around eight-thirty on Friday November fourteenth, 2008. Gladden pleaded not guilty to the charge and will re-appear in court on December seventeenth.
Fernandez reported to the cops that four male persons hired his taxi at the Princess Hotel and Casino to take them to the West Landivar area. Once in the area he was beaten badly. One of the passengers hit him on the head with a pistol and he was dragged out of his car. He was robbed of a ring, a cell phone and the group made way with his ring at a house where Gladden resides. Gladden is also facing other charges in connection with separate incidents over the weekend in which taxi drivers were assaulted.
