U.S. national charged with unlawful carnal knowledge

In more news from the courts, a U.S. national resident of Burrell Boom will spend the end of year holidays behind bars. Twenty-eight year old Brian Tillett was today charged with the Unlawful Carnal Knowledge of a thirteen year old minor. Magistrate Tracy Sosa informed Tillett in court that no plea will be taken because of the nature of the offence and that further no bail can be offered. Tillett’s new court date is set for January fifteenth, 2009.

The victim, a primary school student, reported to the police that this past October twenty-fourth, after she had just left school, Tillett asked her to help him pick up some items from his home in Burrell Boom. The young girl said that she went along, stood by the door and then picked up his phone from a table. And according to the student, this is when Tillett pulled her into the bedroom and had sex with her.
