Jamie Palacio goes to court for burglary and to jail for outstanding fines

Twenty-two year old Jamie Palacio today began a three year prison sentence. While he was arraigned for Burglary, his sentence relates to outstanding fines to the courts which caught up with him today.  Palacio reportedly entered the home of Allison Bowen on Periwinkle Street in the St. Martin’s Area on Wednesday, May nineteenth and proceeded to choke his stepdaughter.  He then made off with a weed cutter valued at one thousand, seven hundred dollars from inside the house.  Palacio, who appeared before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer today, was read a single charge of burglary.  Upon being granted bail for the offence unpaid fines for robbery and drug possession were brought to the magistrate’s attention.  In default of those payments which totaled three thousand, two hundred and fifty-five dollars Palacio was remanded to the Hattieville prison where he will serve his sentence.
