Cases of sex abuse in Burrell Boom, P.G., and Caye Caulker

Sexual assaults on minors have become constant on our newscast and tonight we report on three more cases of Carnal Knowledge. In the first instance, Ladyville police are searching for a man in his twenties in connection with an alleged case of Carnal Knowledge upon a thirteen year old girl in Burrell Boom Village. The child told police that the incident occurred around three thirty-five on the afternoon of October twenty-fourth at the man’s house. She said that she was on her way home from school that afternoon when the man called her into his house and led her to his bedroom where he had sexual intercourse with her. A medical examination has since certified that the child has been sexually molested.

Meanwhile, Punta Gorda police have charged twenty-year old Linsford Cal for a similar offence upon another thirteen year old girl. The charges follow an incident that occurred in September in Indian Creek Village. The girl made the report on Tuesday of this week and an examination also confirmed that she was abused. Cal now faces Carnal Knowledge.

In connection with the third incident which occurred in August, police on Wednesday formally arrested and charged twenty-two year old Marlon Murrillo of Caye Caulker Village with Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.
