What happened between women and pregnant police officer?
The case against Kimara Card and Vanessa Williams, both accused of grievous harm upon a police sergeant, continued today before Magistrate Aretha Ford. The women allegedly assaulted Sergeant Araceli Petillo during an altercation at the Princess Hotel & Casino. On May nineteenth attorney Arthur Saldivar, who represented Card, entered a no case submission to the charge of grievous harm. In court today police prosecutor Kenneth Magdaleno rebutted Saldivar’s submission arguing that there may be inconsistencies in the case and maintained that both women acted together in assaulting the officer. Under oath Card testified that she did not touch the officer during the altercation. Magistrate Ford subsequently ruled that both Card and Williams had a case to answer. A ruling in the matter has been set for June fourth.
