Ramos Shuttle Service owner now patrolling routes
While we could not reach the driver from Skai’s Bus Line for comment, we spoke to the owner of the Ramos buses, who once employed Haliday. Bert Ramos says Haliday was always a troublemaker and was fired from his company because of it.
Bert Ramos, Owner, Ramos Shuttle Service
“Apparently he is a deportee, he has an American accent and he is always disrespecting even me to my customers. When I finally released him it was because one morning someone called me and tell me my bus windshield bruk up. Customers come to me and tell me he was di one disturbing the other guy and so di guy pick up a stone and bruk di windshield and he pick up another stone and bruk di two side glass. I couldn’t do anything. I was the one who is responsible for my bus so the only thing I could do was to let go Mr. Haliday. So ih mek me feel now that he has that kind of like what I would say like a beef against this company, which is unfair to me.”
Ramos says he has started to patrol the bus routes to ensure that his drivers are not racing, overcrowding buses or running late.
