Is the justice system working for you? Viewers respond

There is an alarming number of criminal cases that fall when they get to court for varied reasons. In instances, witnesses are fearful and do not want to testify, other times there is a lack of evidence and still yet sometimes the case files are not ready. The low rate of conviction coupled with the crime epidemic, is paralyzing the country. In light of this, on Tuesday’s newscast we asked the question: Do you think the justice system is working for you?  An overwhelming ninety-five percent of the viewers voted that the justice system is not working due to many factors.

One viewer shared that, “Criminals are getting LENIENT SENTENCES and therefore, the maximum sentence should be impose regardless of gender, education, rank, political affiliation and race.” While another said that “Prison cannot be a “revolving door” for criminals — it needs to be the end of the line for them.”
