Security guards charged for Handling Stolen Goods
Two security guards are in trouble tonight after items stolen from their workplace were found in their possession. On Wednesday police visited the Partridge Street home of brothers, Herman and Ronald Miranda, and discovered kitchen utensils and several items reported missing from the University of Belize. The supplies were stolen from the Freetown Road kitchen, where the men were employed. Both Herman and Ronald appeared in court today and were charged with Handling Stolen Goods. Ronald was hit with an additional charge for a missing microwave. The brothers pleaded not guilty and were offered bail of three thousand dollars. They are to reappear in court on December fourth.
