Adult and minor report sex crimes

A thirty-two year old woman from the Stann Creek District has reported that she was raped. The victim told the police that she was at home around nine p.m. on October twenty-sixth when two men entered home and forced her into her bedroom where the crime occurred. According to the woman, she was abused by the two, but one of them whom she described as a Hispanic, forcibly had sex with her. Police are investigating.

In other news, a fifteen year old girl from San Narciso Village in Corozal visited the police station accompanied by her mother and a social worker to report a case of Carnal Knowledge. The child says in March of this year, she and her nineteen year old boyfriend engaged in sexual intercourse at her home. A medical examination was conducted on the minor and confirmed that she has been sexually active. The girl’s boyfriend has been detained by police and the investigation is pending.
