Trio charged for concealed knife in fried chicken
Also in the Magistrates’ Court, three men, who had a knife concealed in a fried chicken, were charged today. The trio: twenty-one year old Erwin James, twenty-seven year old Deon Brackett and twenty-six year old Jesus Valencia, were in the Queen Street lock-up when the knife was found. They have been charged with possession of an article with a blade to which they pleaded not guilty. The three were offered bail of six hundred dollars each and the case was adjourned until December eleventh. Last Friday when police searched the cell in which the three were detained along with Alex Myers, they found the knife with a four inch blade stuck in a fried chicken. Myers is yet to be charged.
