Randolph Samuels charged in shooting of Delroy Matura
Police have made an arrest in the seven month old shooting of Delroy Matura. Nineteen year old Randolph Samuels a.k.a. Delon Sheran is alleged to be one of two men involved in the March nineteenth incident. He appeared in court this morning in the Magistrates’ Court to answer to charges of Attempted Murder, Dangerous Harm, and Use of Deadly Means of Harm. Samuels was remanded to Hattieville Prison until his next court date on December first. Police reports are that Matura and his girlfriend were standing on Neal Pen Road when two men double riding on a bike approached and fired several shots at Matura. The young man sustained injuries to his abdomen, back, chest and leg. On April third, the other alleged rider, nineteen year old Carl Reneau, was also charged with Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Dangerous Harm.
