Enramada Restaurant jacked, three questioned

Story PictureIn Orange Walk Town, meanwhile, a popular ceviche restaurant was robbed on Sunday Night. At about nine-oh-five p.m. on October twenty-sixth, three employees of Enramada Restaurant and Cabanas were held at gunpoint by armed robbers. Two Hispanic masked men entered the establishment at number five Crickstock Street and one of them brandished a pistol and the other pointed his sawed-off shotgun at the cashier, thirty-eight year old Maria Ramirez. They robbed Ramirez of her jewelry, cell phone, cash and personal documents amounting to one thousand five hundred and forty-nine dollars. Two other employees twenty-eight year old Veronica Diaz and thirty-two year old Lorena Sanchez were also robbed of jewelry, cell phone and cash. The owner of Enramada, fifty-six Year old Hilton Crawford who reached the premises during the robbery, fired a single shot from his licensed firearm which grazed one of the assailants before they both escaped into the night. The police have detained three individuals for questioning regarding the incident.
