5 escape uninjured when vessel crashes into Lemonal Bridge

And there is word from NEMO that no one was injured when a Coast Guard vessel transporting villagers from Lemonal to Rancho Dolores, slammed into the Lemonal Bridge. The vessel was heading to Spanish Creek and capsized in the impact but the five persons it was carrying made it to safety.

Meanwhile in the west, two brothers who had been trapped inside their home in the Santa Rosa area near Calla Creek, Cayo are safe tonight. Yesterday a concerned Cristo Rey resident had texted Cayo District’s DEMO Coordinator, Pablo Chan, requesting help to reach brothers, Fidel and Amilcar Shish who had decided to stay in their home in Santa Rosa. A rescue team was dispatched to the area but one of the brothers had moved to the Santiago Juan layout in San Ignacio and the other went to a relative on higher ground.
