Michaelee Flowers in court for false accounting
Police have charged one of their own, an ex-employee, with false accounting. The former firearms clerk, thirty-nine year old, Michaelee Flowers of Maxboro, was charged with three counts of False Accounting and one count of Theft when she appeared before Chief Magistrate, Margaret Gabb. No pleas were taken from Flowers and she met bail of three thousand dollars. She is scheduled to return to court on December seventeenth. Police allege that in September of last year, Flowers stole six hundred dollars, which were monies paid for gun licenses. They also alleged that in that same month, Flowers forged three revenue collector’s receipts totaling twelve hundred dollars. Police were alerted of the discrepancies when the secretary at the Fort Point Security, Catherine Rudon went to renew the gun licenses for four guns belonging to businessman Michael Feinstein and discovered that only half of the actual amounts collected were deposited in government coffers.
