Safiyyah’s groovy weekend entertainment segment

It’s the end of the work week, and that means you’re just about ready to kick off those shoes and take a load off. If you’re looking for a little excitement to end the week with a bang be sure to catch the many events that will be jumping off this weekend. There’s a party that will take you a couple decades back to the glory days  of the 80’s in San Ignacio or you can drop in at Club Next for this week’s edition of stress free Fridays! Entertainment host Safiyyah has the stats on all the weekend hot spots.

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize?

Tonight the party scene here in the city will definitely be jumping off. The first spot to be is the Palm Island, where French Kiss will be having a customer appreciation party. This means that ladies enter free all night long and there will be a long list of drinks that you can purchase for only $3. The music will be provided by Tagg International, Belizean Movements and a special guest international DJ.

The other party going down inside Belize City will be happening inside Club Next where they will be having Stress-free summer nights. This party will feature half off on drinks and cell phone giveaways. The music will be provided by Black Chiney straight out a Miami as well as DJ Motion and 501 Federation sound.

If you want to do things a little more old School Style, then u can check out ‘Ole Skool Fridays’ Happening inside Birds Isle Restaurant. This party goes down every Friday night.

Tomorrow night you can check out the 80’s night happening inside the Storks Club. Music will be provided by DJ Brannon. The storks club is located inside the San Ignacio Resort Hotel in Cayo.

For next week Saturday out west you can look out for Belmopan Day. This will all be happening on the Governor General’s Field. There will be live performances by the Youth Connection Band from Orange Walk. Music will be provided by Youth Connection Band, Cloud Nine Sounds and Presidential sounds.  There will even be dance performances from dance groups from all over the country. And in celebration of the 40th Birthday of Belmopan there will be fireworks.

And the after party next week Saturday night will be held inside Puccini’s. It will be an All white affair. Music will be provided by Cloud nine Sounds and Stone Jam, I’ll give you more info on that one next week. Well that’s all I have for now, have a great weekend. Bye!
