G.O.B. announces new bus schedules
Earlier this month the Ministry of Transportation announced the zoning system for the southern and western parts of the country, and while there have been protests since then, G.O.B. today released the new schedules beginning Sunday, October nineteenth. If you are a commuter, the following are the new schedules. Three bus companies, James Bus Line, Usher Bus Line and G-Line Bus Service will operate in the Southern Zone. While, Chen Bus Line, Yascal Bus Line, Smith Bus Line, Richie Bus Line, Martinez Bus Line, Williams Bus Line, Radiance Ritchie Bus Line and Polanco Bus Line will serve the passengers in the rural areas of the Southern Zone. As for those travelling to and from the Western Zone, they can travel on National Transport Services Limited, Guerra’s Bus Service, D and E, Shaw Bus Service and B.B.O.C. The runs for the rural areas of the Western zone remain the same as well as the Northern Zone bus runs. The only change reported for the north is in Ladyville where the shuttle service will be replaced by the Skai’s Bus Line, Flores Bus Service and Ramos Bus Service. And according to the Ministry, buses that are not in possession of a valid bus operator’s permit will not be allowed to transport commuters.
