Herman Blease pays up to avoid imprisonment
He appeared in court yesterday, and the former chief of security of Belize Central Prison, Herman Blease, avoided incarceration at the same facility he was once in charge of by paying off a debt of over two thousand dollars which he incurred from purchasing household items from Courts since 2005. Two commitment warrants were filed against him and had he not paid, Blease would have been confined for six weeks in the first instance.
