Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize for the first weekend in October.
Tonight starting at eight p.m. the Brazilian string orchestra will be doing a live performance in the Bliss. There will also be performances by the Belizean string orchestra and the Pallotti School of Music Chamber Orchestra. Tickets are only fifteen dollars reserved and ten dollars General.
If you find yourself all the way down south this weekend then you should check out the P.G. Sports Bar. This Saturday night they are having an Old School Punta Rock Party with the New Sound City Band, which features Mohobub, Chico Ramos, and Lloyd and Reckless. The entrance is fifteen dollars and the party starts at ten p.m.
In beautiful Belmopan this Saturday night the Barrio Fino Sports Bar will be the spot for DJ Flava’s Birthday Bash. The party will feature Renegade from Miami and Cloud Nine Sounds, Stone Jam, and DJ Motion. Entrance is twenty dollars.
The village of San Jose Palmar would like to invite everyone out there on Sunday twelfth October for La Fiesta Del Pueblo. This is the fifth year they are having this fest and the fun runs all day long. They will have food and drinks there as well as cultural performances. So mark your calendar for the twelfth October and head up to Orange Walk to San Jose Palmar Village.
