Santa Clara man charged with carnal knowledge of 15 year old

There is another case of carnal knowledge to report tonight. On Wednesday a mother from San Jose Village in Orange Walk District reported to Corozal police that her fifteen year old daughter went to work early Tuesday morning at the Commercial Free Zone and did not return home. Information led police to the residence of twenty-two year old Bernardo Chi of Santa Clara Village in Corozal where they located the minor. The young lady admitted that she and Chi first had sexual intercourse on August thirtieth. A medical examination certified that the child was carnally known and police have formally arrested and charged Chi with the crime of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.
