St. Mathew’s bandits get away with firearms and ammo
Right after the Belize City robbery of JB Security by armed bandits, two other thieves robbed a villager of St. Mathews and made good their escape in a blue Toyota Camry car. On Friday police were called to the residence of Angel Miguel Adle where thirty-five year old Elba Arce reported that at about twelve-thirty on Friday, two dark complexion men entered their St. Matthews house, one of them armed with a handgun. Arce says the man hit her on the arm, legs and head with the gun and then went through the house and stole four pistols: a 30-06 Remington rifle, a point twenty-two Marun rifle, a Smith and Wesson twelve gauge pump action shotgun and a nine millimetre Glock nineteen pistol. The man also made away with an electronic safe which contained valuable documents and ammunition for the firearms.
