2 questioned in September 16th pseudoephedrine shipment
And still on the issue of Pseudoephedrine, there’s a new development in the container that was released with forged documents from the Port Authority compound on September sixteenth. Two men, Howell Hutchinson of Cotton Tree Village, and businessman Hilberto Marchand, who both turned themselves in yesterday, are being questioned by police. It is believed that Hutchinson was employed to transport the cargo by Marchand, the owner of the September sixteenth container that was loaded with ten million pills of the illegal drug which is used to make crystal meth, a potent and addictive drug that has a high demand in the US. According to reports to News Five, the cargo was unloaded in the vicinity of Roaring Creek but police and customs have still been unable to recover the drugs. They have, however, recovered the towhead and are piecing together information of a trailer that was found stripped. Last Friday, three custom officers were charged in the same case: thirty-six year old Carl Augustine, thirty-two year old Aruny Perez and twenty-one year old Michael McKenzie, who were all charged with Forging an official Port Authority Document. The container was shipped from Taiwan.
