Counterfeit notes detected in Orange Walk
An alert Belize Bank teller at the Orange Walk Branch reported to authorities that at about three o’clock on Monday afternoon, she discovered a counterfeit Belize fifty dollar bill with serial number DB110865 in a night deposit bag. The deposit had been made by a business establishment that has since said it was not aware of the counterfeit note. Police are still looking for the source of the fake note.
