Anita Henry is first Miss Y International
It was the first of its kind in Belize, and at the end of the evening, Miss Y Belize transitioned to become Miss Y International. On Friday night at the City Centre, Belize’s Anita Henry topped five other bold women from Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Fort Lauderdale and Miami to capture the Miss Y International title. The women competed for eloquence, elegance, poise and talent. There was plenty of laughter and a sense of pride from the six Belizean-born women as they showcased memories of Belizean history and Creole folklore. Here are some highlights of the evening.
