Bowen and Bowen delivery truck jacked

They have been victims of robberies countless times and remain a target for jackers. And tonight there is a report that a Bowen and Bowen delivery truck was been held up. Thirty-six year old salesman, Michael Rowland, reported to police that around three-thirty yesterday afternoon he was making a delivery to an address on Sarstoon Street, when a man approached his delivery truck. Rowland says he was hit three times over his head and told to hand over everything. In fear, the salesman says he covered his face and that then he heard noises suggesting that the padlock for the cash pan which was inside the truck was being broken. He subsequently saw a man riding away with the evening’s sales: a total of two thousand dollars.
