National Council on Aging looking for Golden Age Heroes

The National Council on Aging is looking for a few Golden Age Heroes. On the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons on October first, N.C.A. will be honouring one older person from each district with the Golden Heroes Award and as such is asking for nominees. Candidates must be sixty years or older, have contributed or are contributing to the development of their community through voluntary service, and should not have been the recipient of any award or recognition. According to the release, N.C.A. is looking for persons who have championed a cause towards the improvement of their working environment.
